I bought Lenovo notebook 6 month ago in JR music – large electronic store in NY with 1 yr. warranty. Then bought 3 yr. extended warranty. I was surprised to find out later that my warranty status was showing it almost expired. When I called them, they gave me really hard time updating it. They actually made me to go to the store and recover 6 month old receipt for it even though I was ready to present them. It took multiple calls, hours and aggravation. When I asked both to show where it says in a warranty, they were leading me to the warranty page.Right before it, they admitted that it does not say in particular in a
I recently purchased a Lenovo Y560 laptop and due to its core i7 I figured it would be smart to get a laptop cooling pad. The laptop’s output vents (from what I can tell) are on the left side of the computer and its input vents core I7 Laptops Lenovo are on the bottom. The laptop cooling pad I bought was the Antec Laptop Cooling Pad. This pad pulls air from the bottom of the laptop and vents it out the bottom of the pad. I am wondering, should I be ok with this cooler, even though the laptop pulls air from the bottom? Or should I look for a cooler that blows air up to the bottom of the laptop? Also, if I should change pads, does anyone have a good recommendation?Any recommendations? I mean I don’t want the laptop and the pad to compete for air.
